After years of running Slashcode (which powers slashdot.org), I decided to switch to something a little more modern. The slash stuff, when I installed it back in 1999, was cutting edge. Now, it seems rather dated. And it really does not do what I want it to do, and it runs on PERL.So, I tried to migrate this site to WordPress. Most of the stories made it over, and some didn’t (lame ones). There is still a lot of work to be done, but it is coming along.
